How Does The Cold Affect Your AIHA?
That was an interesting take on environmental temperatures and associated reactions to AIHA.
My daughter told me that she ran into an article on the Internet that indicated extreme temperature changes can initiate or exacerbate AIHA.
(She’s still looking for the article.)
But what I CAN tell you is that a little over two years ago, I spent about 5 1/2 weeks in Mexico’s Yucatán where was it was quite hot, even in November and early December.
In early December, 2021, I returned to my wife in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East.
So I went from a hot climate to a very cold climate and two months later, I was diagnosed with warm AIHA for the first time in my life.
And by the time I reached the hospital for transfusions, I was close to passing on to the next world.
Summary: I would be very interested in having further information on how temperature extremes can initiate or affect AIHA.
(I have not yet examined all of the above links.)
I looked up and norvir is used as a strong HIV medication and is dangerous to take it just like that. Other type of convertase inhibitors I found are used for high cholesterol patients. In case anyone wondering what that means. Personally I am not willing to try any of these as it sounds very scary to me and both have bad side effects. I too did research on different approaches for treatments but all the stronger and more efficient meds have intense side effects long term.
Interesting, John2... I always intuitively thought that going on a beach vacation in the middle of harsh winter in a person's permanent location is likely not the best idea...
Thank you Fred, for all the links and the mention of Cats Claw, something I will look into and possibly try. I found it interesting the mention of Sulfa drugs. After having brachytherapy (seed radiation) for breast cancer I developed an infection after they removed the implanted tube. I was prescribed a Sulfa drug and within hours of taking the first dose, had to drive myself to the ER with a severe allergic reaction. I was then prescribed Pred which I was only able to take for a few days before developing an allergic reaction to that. :( All my doctors are on board with me supplementing with herbs.
Primarily temperature of BLOOD affects AIHI.How you sleep-NO electric blankets.I have EVANS SYNDROME(warm+cold) AIHI so have 3 different zones of my body to heat or cool at night. My lower legs, chest and head.If chest blood above 37C,there is Hemolysis,If air temperature below 71F,the head affects whole body and relieves AIHI.In summary,AIHI is mostly affected by temperature and you have to experiment-there is no magic pill! or cure! The treatment is complex and beyond just pills, however, one pill helped me-a Convertase Inhibitor, which is a type of Protease Inhibitor which slows metabolism-the same as cooling the blood.Something called COMPLEMENT is out of wack with AIHI causing autoantibody sensitivity to foods, drugs, supplements, especially those containing Sulfur, which is caused by the G6PD Deficiency gene, which I have.Talk to .your Doc-this is an Immune Disorder, and requires a multidisciplinary approach. Also, any blood- borne virus, fungus, nacteria or complex, such as biofilm is causative.I found an Herb which strengthens cell membranes and removes the chemical causing sensitivity to Candida fungus, which along with improved GI function, mucus transport, white cell function, immune function, leaky gut and the entire body metabolism is improved. In short, temperature control, the right drug (try (NORVIR),CATS CLAW HERBAL TINCTURE and avoiding Sulfur. drugs, foods and supplements.CAUTION:Yhis Herb uses the same enzyme as many drugs,so drug dose and dosing schedule may need adjustment to avoid overdose, which can worsen AIHI.I am not a Doctor.I translate research to diagnoses, prevention ,treatments and diets-something called Precision Healthcare. Since genetics are involved,a life-long approach is needed to CONTROL AIHI and prevent disability and possible premature death. The Herb I found is the only known mTOR Inhibitor for life-long use.If you have been in the Hospital and got a Staph infection, which went internal and became systemic,it is difficult to treat, and is called a MRSA infection.I feel this accounts for much of AIHI,and why this Herb is necessary as it is uniquelly suited for MRSA infections-those infections resistant to antibiotics, especially since most contain Sulfur.
My Question For The Team: Has Anyone Here Had Any Actual Experience As A Recipient Of Rituximab Intravenous Infusion?
Which Blood Test Tells Us That It Is This AIHA?
I Was Diagnosed With Warm Aiha Earlier This Year. Do You Find That Hot Weather Makes Your Feel Worse?
