Taking The Steriod Pill. Anyone Else Have Such Low Energy Taking The Prednisone?
I have been on low maintenance of prednisone (5mg) for a few years. Keeps things in check. I take D3 2X per day, folic acid 1X per day, HCQ 2X per day, and zinc one per day along with the regular vitamins. Best I have felt in years. Blood numbers are nearly back to normal.
I think it is not the steroid that makes one fatigued but the disease itself…just sayin..

Your above comment is both revealing and reassuring in terms of how long Prednisolone can be used for AIHA.
I have taken a note of your other supplements and it’s certainly worth investigating further.
My two haematologists in two separate countries sharply disagree on this issue.
I am currently taking one, 5 mg tablet of Prednisolone per day for six days a week.
And I feel just fine. My HGB is typically 11 to 12.
We can continue to compare notes.
Very best wishes and please keep in touch!
I was on varying degrees of prednisone up to 40mg for 4 months. I actually like it because it gave me a lot of energy. Did take ambien for a better nights sleep
I take B12, and vitamin D3 but I don't think it works well
